Nice voiced rappers' best friend Bruno Mars has just made his debut single, Just The Way You Are, available for pre order on his website.
Fans familiar with his work on tracks like Nothin On You with B.O.B, and Billionaire with Travie McCoy, will know what to expect from this first solo release.
The video was inspired, according to director Ethan Lader, by artist Erika Iris Simmons and matches the simple nature of the song, whilst remaining interesting. The lyrics are predictable and not exactly complex, but unfortunately for all us Alpha males, they are sickeningly loved up. Mars' voice here is, as expected, perfect for the song, with his nice boy image making his words almost believable. It's difficult not to get caught up in the effortless romance of the song, and difficult to not get lost in Bruno's oh so beautiful smile, and this leads to a great solo debut.
Mars has played the charts well - making a name for himself on collaborations with recognised rappers, allowing his debut to be dead cert for success. Expect a No.1 (in the UK at least)
